The feature has been hotly anticipated for some time, with users previously forced to find workarounds or use the DualShock 4 while streaming from the PlayStation 5 in apps like PS Remote Play, in absence of proper DualSense support.Players will also be able to use the DualSense and Series controllers with a compatible Apple TV if they own one, so they’ll be able to play Apple Arcade games on the big screen with a next-gen controller. You can find and install the update by heading to your Settings app, tapping the General tab and then scrolling down to Software Update.
It’s also very timely given that Microsoft has just kicked off its beta testing program for Xbox Cloud Gaming on iOS devices. Players will be able to use the latest Xbox controllers while playing games through Safari as of the 14.5 OS update if they’re lucky enough to be chosen to take part in the beta.
